Briefly about the Blog

The blog “Literary Yog” is a platform dedicated to discussing various topics related to English literature, specifically British Literature.

In short, it is a unified platform for all related topics of literature. Hence the name ‘yog’ is given.

The blog aims to bring novelty to literary discussions by using engaging graphics, animations, and video editing to keep the audience entertained and interested.
While it doesn’t focus on providing factual information like author’s bio or publication year, it delves into the deeper aspects of literary works, offering my unique perspectives and insights.

About the Person Behind the Blog.

My name is Anuj Boruah aka The Zenithopian. I’m a PhD research scholar and a budding blogger.

I have cracked CBSE NET (July 2018), NE-SLET (July 2018) and UGC-NTA-NET (June 2019).

What inspired me to start this blog?

The inspiration behind starting Literary Yog came from my personal experience of struggling to find comprehensive discussions on English literature while surfing the internet.

Realizing that others might face the same issue, the idea of creating a platform to bridge this gap emerged.

However, it wasn’t until the challenging times of the pandemic in April 2020 that I saw an opportunity to re-start my life and embark on something new.

“It the best of times, it was the worst of times… it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair”

Amidst the world’s uncertainty, I found hope and decided to immerse myself in the idea of Literary Yog.
